Soaps containing salicylic acid.

Depends on what your current skin care regimen is like. If you are on several acne medications, I wouldn't use a harsh soap on my face because your skin is already being dried out by the other treatments.

I use Cetaphil for oily skin. It's gentle and does not overly dry out my skin. The formula is noncomedogenic so it won't clog pores. Since my skin is acne prone, I use differin gel at night with CE Ferulic. This keeps my skin looking good.

Update: Forgot to add that if you are too aggressive with oily skin (constantly washing it or using too many products that overly dry the skin) your skin will actually produce MORE oil. That's why I make sure that not all of my skin products have drying agents in them.

If you mean an oily face then I use Proactiv. It works and it doesn't burn and break out my face like Clearasil and Neutrogena do.
