Ok, first question I have asked and need advice please?!

Question: Here it is.
I live quite a fast lifestyle. Always running. On the weekends I do slow down to enjoy life.

I was having problems with some slight chest pain. I went to doctor, ran tests, they said my triglycerides was extremely high.
Didnt want to give me a prescription for anything. Just told me to get over the counter niacin.
My blood pressure was averaging 139 over 99
that was an average. My heart rate was always at average of 139

Now after a month of niacin, I dont feel as bad, and my blood pressure is average 123 over 83
My heart rate (while I am relaxed) is still averaging 139!
When I move around and am active a little bit. I have had it reach 158!

Now, I am sick of going to this quack and him saying my heart rate is not an issue. It is!
Anyone have a clue as whats going on?
and please good answers, no "change doctors!) I know I need to do that and I know I cant get doctors answer here. Just wondering if anyone else has had issues like this and what they have done to make it

The normal resting heart rate is 60-80. If this rate does not represent an abnormal heart rhythm or arrhythmia, then there is something else going on causing your heart to beat this fast. Either way you need a second opinion to determine the cause.

I had problems like that when i was pregnant... but, i wasn't diagnosed with pregnancy induced hypertension... but, hmm.. Are you stressed in anyway?? I mean.. like do you feel anxious or anything? if u still feel this way i would say that you need to go to the hospital to get checked out.. or go to another doc for a second opinion..; I know when my anxiety acts up my BP goes up and pulse goes up.. and stays up till i counteract the stress bringing it on! hopefully this helps.

I would definitely go see another Doctor-or two-or three. Your problem is not good.At one time my triglycerides and B.P. where super high. I was drinking alcohol, eating a lot of cold cut grinders when I did eat, along with a lot of other kinds of junk food and other crap that not good for me. Now that I stopped all that nonsense everything is normal.By the way, I'm not a doctor, but your heart rate is an issue.

Well, sounds like you need to settle down a bit, I dont know if you are overweight but you may need to diet and exercise a little more. Also quit smoking. Maybe you have anxiety attacks that trigger it.
