What I would expect is that it would dry (hopefully - gangrene being the bad "other" option) and yes, fall off.

From what I recall from the old farm days, this was how they castrated pigs - by placing what was essentially a small rubber band around the "parts" and letting them dry up and fall off. NOT recommended for the family pet due to risk of infection, but old farm wisdom nonetheless.

So is the ear gone? If so, there you have it. You might want to apply a bit of antibiotic ointment if there's any question about infection.

the body part will die because its getting lack of oxygen and will not work anymore

That part of the body would die and need to removed.

I find it hard to believe that her ear would be gone after only four days, but for sake of the question, I'll answer.
When a part of the body has lost circulation, it means that oxygen is no longer being able to travel to that part of the body. That part then will start to die and will eventually fall off.
This practice used to be really popular in making certain breeds of dogs tails shorter.

sit with one leg over the other like your reading a book on your lap for a long period of time (not the girl way) and your entire foot and most of your leg with go numb and loose all off your movment untill you take it from that possition.

In the fourth grade, someone brought in a lamb for show and tell. They had rubber bands on their long tails, and when asked why, their mom said that was how they cut them off. After a week or so, it would just drop off by itself...

your last part was rite. it just shrivles up and falls off
