Can changing my body soap cause labia itching?!

Question: I just recently changed my body soap and since then, my labia has become itchy and I've run into a few yeast infection episodes. Should I change back to my regular body soap and ditch this one?

Yes, there are all sorts of allergies that people don't know about until they run into something that triggers it. I have all the allergies in the family, but when I changed laundry soap, my husband broke out all over his back. Didn't bother me at all. It just goes to show, you never know. I would ditch the new soap for sure.

Yes its an allergic effect, this soap is too essenced. Use the more natural you can.

ditch the new one. your body is obviously reacting badly to the new one. you could be allergic to something in it or maybe your body just doesnt like change.
either way, best idea is to go back to one that you have previously used

Yeast infections can be very bad!
Some soaps, deodorant, perfumed, etc., have been known to cause these problems. Also, speaking of yeast infections.......
perfumed douches are bad for women., they should also
be avoided the vinegar & water solution works just as well.
If you live in a very dry climate or if you live in aplace with harsh winters DEODERANT SOAPS can be very drying
and make (any and all body parts itch)!
I hope this is a help!

if switching back to your old soap doesn't get rid of your yeast infections you could try rePHresh which I have heard can do amazing things for yeast infections. I used to get chronic yeast infections and going on birth control cleared them up and I haven't had any since. Also, your GYN can give you some more powerful medicine to clear them up also if you have tried diflucan and it has not worked.
