Why cant a family member do surgery in a other family member?!
Question: I don't think there is any law dictating that. It seems surgeons find it convenient when alternative is available, not to operate on their family members. The indifference that comes when operating on others, is beneficial for surgeon as well as patient. I know of many surgeons who operated on their family members, because, I think they could detatch themselves emotionally from them. They considered them merely as patients and not any family members.
I am anesthetist and I have anesthetized two of my kids. I made it sure I forget for the timebeing that those are my kids.

Ive heard of plastic surgeons doing surgery on their spouses. I think you can in some cases.
because he or she wasnt healthy enough
because they dont trust you (meaning the other family member). say you might not like your sister and you operate on her and maybe do something wrong and kill her "accidentaly". i dunno..it sounds kind of right.
