Question: okay so i didnt really get the answer i wanted.. at all.
i have a cold sore and it swelled. im aware of what a cold sore is. i know how long it lasts everything please dont tell me i just wanna know how long the selling is gonna last for? i used ice and it didnt help me

I think they last for as long as they last. There's not really an exact amount of time that they appear. My mom gets them a lot and she uses the Neosporin cold sore chapstick kind of stuff and it seems to make the cold sores go away faster. Also, from my own experience and for your future reference, if you put some of the cold sore cream on it when you first feel that you are getting a cold sore, they don't appear.
