Question: I know it's normal when you're doing exersice but the other girls in my class don't have the same problem, my face turns really really red and it takes me like 10 minutes to get the normal color of it.Thanks a lot :)

same as me when i used to get drunk lol

nothing to worry bout, i got a friend who's like you..
when every p.e time, working out time or JUST about anything that involves some muscle-going her face would turn so red that you would think it was about to explode lol
i think its cuz your body can't take lots of heat cuz when you excercise, fats are burned.
but i guess it only happens to pretty people.
:]

You're not like other girls. Eveyone is different. Get over it. It's not a health issue. You're just hot.

you probably have real good circulation

Funny. Thats what happens to me too.

I don't make much of it. The redness goes away afetr a few minutes.

Omg I have the exact same problem!!!!!! Its telly annoying and embarassing but I think it only happens to someone who works really hard and none of the other girls in my class make any effort in that class so I kind of feel good about myself when my face is red because I know I worked hard. So dont feel bad. Maybe try washing your face or splashing it with water after gym. I dont know if that will help though...

No I don't think that was stupid , it's a very common problem and it can be embarrasing for some teenagers, your face turns red because when you work out, your body produces heat. One way that your body makes sure it doesn't overheat is by sweating, of course, but your body also increases blood circulation to the skin's surfaces, so the heat can be radiated off (smart bod). Warm, oxygenated blood rushes to your face, turning it that bright red color. It's receiving lots of healthy blood, bringing nutrients to your skin and carrying away toxins.

If you are noticing other symptoms besides a red face, like dizziness, fatigue, or nausea, you may be in danger of becoming overheated. To help your body stay cool, wear clothes that breathe easily, like cotton. Also make sure to keep yourself hydrated. Bring a water bottle with you and sip when you feel yourself getting too hot (resist chugging down gallons of water - it could give you a belly ache). You can also pour some water on your head to cool you off (if you're running, lean forward so you don't get water in your shoes - it'll prevent blisters).

maybe you didn't used to do these exercises

you probably have a lot of blood going through your head, does your feet get cold often?, some people have this where only little blood goes certaing places, do you have a area where you always get cold? if you do then there is your answer, and also you may be out of shape =(

you don't have to worry about that. it's just your type of body. at least, I will prefer kissing your red face to kissing your fat face.

because you are working out and burning calories, normal.

It's normal! Don't worry about it! And it's not a stupid question! It just means that you have good circulation and a healthy body!

because your out of shape..lol..keep going im sure it will turn blue.

Mine is the same. I have a reddish tinge already in my skin, similar to yours. Other girls are browner and it does not show up as much.

cuz all the blood in your body start getting pumped up.
and goes through your body, especially your head.
so since you white(no offense) your'll turn red.
and it takes a while for it to cool down, thats why it takes like 10 min.
