Does drinking too much milk cause undereye circles in a child?!

Question: My 9 year old drinks tons of milk 2% does not drink any sodas and does not eat candy or chocolates but lately I've noticed dark undereye circles and he's very active in sports and get's 9-10 hours of sleep each night and even more on the weekend. Does not eat alot of veggies though what could cause undereye circles in a perfectly healthy child?

Dark circles under the eyes are generally a sign of weakened kidney function ~ bolster his kidney function by ensuring that he is drinking plenty of water on a daily basis. You say that he's playing a lot of sports each day ~ hence he would probably need more water than somebody who is less active.

Good health to you & yours?

CHEERS
?

Sounds like a classic sign of allergies. Has he been tested?

i heard that under eye circles are not something you just get, but they are hereditary

I am the same way. Never drank pop or ate candy and junk food ever. Always healthy and got my sleep. I drink alot of milk to. I have no idea if its actually the milk causing that. But its just normal. I have had huge purple bags under my eyes since I was very very little. My dad took me to the doctor about it when I was little and the doc said it was just normal and he called the bags "Shiners".
Maybe he could also be allergic to something that makes the bags more noticeable.
Bags under your eyes are just actualy blood that you can kind-of see thru the skin.
It's all normal

i drink 2 liters a day with no problems + lots of fruit and vegetables + fish and meat and stuff , no problems at all

Dark circles are a normal occurrence, my family and friends have them, and they are healthy, active people, but can also be caused by allergies, etc.

If he doesn't eat too many veggies, maybe he's having too much of one good thing and not getting all the vitamins in his diet.

milk is very bad for you. We are the only species as adults that drink milk and at that it's ANOTHER SPECIES milk. That is gross. Once a calf grows into a cow.. THEY no longer drink milk. This is why so many people have allergies towards dairy.... Your son may have allergies such as pollen or other particles in the air. I too had dark circles and thought it was b/c I'm hispanic and it was b/c of allergies. The blood rushes towards to nose and eyes, creating the dark shadows. I had to get shots for 2 yrs!! I'd ck w/ his doctor.

I took my daughter to the doctor years ago and he told me that is a sign of allergies.
