Is it possible to wake up from a coma and just be normal?!

Question: I know someone that is in coma and I'm just wondering if he will be normal again? Is it possible that he will be normal within 1 or 2 weeks? Or will he not remember anything...??
Does he need to learn how to walk again? And write and all those stuff?

There have been reported cases of patients awakening with little or no mental damage.

But I think the cause of the coma has a lot to do with it, and how long the patient is in a coma.
