Doctor gave me allergy shots I can inject on my own. I am afraid to stick my bum!

Question: How far in should I stick the needle into my bum. My doctor showed me how to do it and I have been receiving them sense I was little. It is completely different when I am holding the syringe.

have somebody go with you to the doctor so they can learn how to do it and then they can stick you. you can have them do it in your arm or thigh. it doesn't bother me for somebody else to give me the shot but if i have to do it myself i would probably freak out

Personally, I've never heard of injecting yourself in the rear. A friend of mine takes insulin for diabetes, and she injects into her thigh, where she can see what she's doing.

What is your allergy? If its air born like pollen, pet dander, mold, etc, you can forget the shots and take a teaspoon of LOCAL honey each day. This will work with your body to build up immunities to all of these irritants. Like all herbal remedies, it will take a while to become effective but you will also notice that you get less cold and flu symptoms as well.
