Do you believe that a person must be a scientist or a doctor to?!

Question: cure herpes, HPV or HIV. Give your reasoning for your answer.

Answers: cure herpes, HPV or HIV. Give your reasoning for your answer.

No, I do not. I have heard of cures for herpes, HPV, and HIV in alternative medicine and other kinds of medicine but some of us westerners don't seem to trust anyone unless they have an MD after their name. Well, I know the pitfalls of that. There are some really bad doctors with MD after their name. That is why I have taken my health into my own hands. The doctors that are good are worth their weight in gold.

You would need a medical background to do the research on either. If you weren't a Doctor you would not be able to know the infection. There are a lot of Doctors that do both their pratices and medical research as well, and I'm sure there are scientist that work side by side in the labs with the Doctors as well.

You have to be real smart and know lots about medicine. you may not be able to get the antibiotics you need unless you have a doctors signature

The "cures" are not just laying around on the sidewalk waiting to be picked up. It's unlikely that any one person would be responsible for more than a portion of a cure. The only way to discover these cures would be to do a lot of experimentation, weeks and weeks of tedious, specific work, proving the theory is correct. This person would, by definition, be a scientist. Now, would they need to have a degree to do this? Not necessarily, although I cannot fathom someone funding such a project without being convinced of the persons credentials.
