Do i have weird skin or something?!

Question: because just about everything that happens to me leaves a scar..

like once i had some of the skin torn off my ankle and its left a huge heart-shaped purple scar on my ankle..

even little scratches leave scars!! like when i accidentally scraped it on the side of my locker..

and when i popped this blister on my wrist... scar...

and im extremely accident proned..

do i have weird skin or do yall do that too?

you may just scar easily, i dont think its particularly abnormal.

I do have lots of scars, but usually small things like that heal fine for me (although very slowly).

Try using polysporin after you hurt yourself, make sure you moisturize (you could try some lotions that say they minimize the appearance of scars), and exfoliate.

If it seems real bad, go to the doctor...they could maybe prescribe something, or perhaps you have something that one of the side effects is easy scarring (eg. with diabetes, it takes longer for injuries to heal).

I only get scars if the wound is really deep. My parents are beekeepers, so I always put a bit of honey on my wounds or cuts. It takes out infection and speeds up healing. Good luck.

When you have trauma to the skin....scar.......but yes, you are weird!

It depends! Are you on medication that could be making you more scar proned? Are you hydrated? Do you have very fair, or very dark skin? I had the same problem. Mine was because of a soy allergy that I wasn't healing properly. I found using Dove energy glow soap (not the lotion.)daily really made the scars fade/blend in/become less noticable. Goodluck, God bless, and good health.

Some people are just that way. It's not abnormal. My mom is notorious for barely bumping into somthing and instantly getting a horrible bruise. Some people's skin just react differently.

Take a multivitamin and it will help you heal better....

If youre female a prenatal vitamin is a good idea
(Im not saying get pregnant, I'm saying that a prenatal vitamin has everything you could need in one shot.....)

take it every day

look for one with biotin in it, its great for skin, nails, hair.....

GNC prenatal with iron is great.
