it may just be an allergy ar somthing like that but nothing seriouse

if its a dry cough, it could be post nasal drip or allergies of some sort. You wouldnt even notice it except for a dry cough (mainly at night). If it's a productive cough (some phlegm) it could a respiratory infection such as bronchitis.

It could be a chest cold. Make sure to go to a doctor and take care of it. I had one a month ago that I left untreated and it progressed into acute bronchitis and two inner ear infections. Not fun.
