Red And Sore Thumbs?!

Question: My thumbs, just my thumbs, are sore, red, warm and very tender. They hurt so bad.
Please help me!
I know it's not cellultis, because 1. i don't have a fever and 2.It's just on my thumbs and no where else.
I also have a rash. Maybe connected?
