I had it for my daughter when she were a baby so you should be fine its good stuff and works very quickly
Good luck

My daughter had thrush when she was 5 and the doctor prescribed it.
Just told to use very sparingly.

If your 6-year old has thrush, you need to get a pediatrician *now*

I do not think you can take Clotrimazole internally. Or, at least, on the tube it says not to. I believe there's something else they use for thrush.

No she cannot use it unless it has been prescribed by a doctor. It is not licensed to be purchased from a pharmacy for people under the age of 16yrs and over 60yrs. I am very concerned that the pharmacy assistant never asked you who the product was for and therefore should have not even sold it to you for your 6yr old daughter.
You MUST take her to the gp as thrush in a child of that age needs intervention with a gp.
I am a pharmacy technician and work in a busy community pharmacy.
