Question: The air is dry and with central heating the air in your house is even drier. Get an over-the-counter salt water spray at the drug store, grocery store, Walmart, etc. There will be no ill effects, you can use it as often as needed. It will loosen up your nasal passages and your sinuses.

i guess you're allergic to dead things.
get a humidifier in your bedroom at least and see if that helps you. you may just have a dry house. it makes ppl stuffy in the winter because the air is so dry. you can get one at a phamacy or wal mart for like $15-$20. these are fairly small ones others go for a lot more but are worth it.
You may be allergic to molds, animal dander, dust mites or cockroaches. The winter doesn't effect those things.
indoor proteins, either directly or that mimic pollens you're allergic to; indoor plants; low humidity from running the heater in a closed house; there are certain plants that pollinate during the winter, ex, mountain cedar in Texas. There are a lot of reasons. Might want to make an appointment to let an MD help you figure it our by process of elimination vs. spring/summer stuff.
Possibly..... Dust.
Once you close up the house for the winter the dust accumulates.
Change the furnace filter more frequently.
I have year around allergies- Ive been tested and I am allergic to most everything including my Dog, who sleeps in my bed everynight.
Just b.c u don't see pollen- doesn't mean u don't have a winter allergy.
