Dry, Flakey, Patch on my face. What is it?!
Question: Hey, I'm 15 and I have a circular dry patch on the left side of my face, by my eye. I don't think it's ringworm, because I checked pictures of it on Google.com images...This isn't dark red. It seems like a dry patch, but it's been there for at least 2 months. I try creams, but it doesn't go away. It's flakey, red, rough, VERY noticeable, and large. It's not that flakey though, it just you can see some peeled skin. I don't know what the heck this is, can somebody PLEASE tell me what this is?

It is not ring worm, it is eczema more than likely. My son has had this since he was very young, and it occurs in his case in the springtime. As with any medical questions, You should discuss it with your doctor. But your 15 so your parents should take the initiative and make an appointment for you. The doctor will just prescribe some cream for it.
