Is there any medicinne for MEASLES ?!
Question: There is no antiviral medication for measles. Seventy years ago measles was one of the top ten causes of death in children. I was in medicine before the measles vaccine was available, and I have stated before on this forum that children with measles are sick. Mild cases are the exception, not the rule. Hence the requirement for immunization.
There are some reports that the morbidity and mortality of measles among children living in impoverished areas can be improved by the administration of vitamin A. Much of this is anecdotal, but there are a few scientific reports. I heard that WHO physicians use Vitamin A in these circumstances.

I dont know about medicine but there is an mmr (measles mumps and rubella (sp) ) vaccination you are supposed to recieve several times in your life.
There is no medicine for measles. Vitamin A is given to prevent complications, such as eye complications, malnutrition, diarrhea and pneumonia.
there are vaccinations... no medicine to cure...
