Any self help tips for arthritis?!

2] keep track of diet - some foods may aggravate the symptoms

4] take Glucosamine condroiton - prevents furthur damage to joints, and provides relief too! Take one 500 mg. tablet /day for every 50 pounds of weight to start - then decrease to two [ if small ], three [ average size ], or four [ very heavy ] daily.
Some times I forget i have arthritis, unless I forget my glucosamine three days in a row!
5] experiment with different types of mattresses - water, gel, foam, pillowtop - til you find one that works best.
6] get enough sleep - the inflammatory process is aggravated by lack of rest. You may need 10 to 12 hours some days.

squeeze stress balls. Also take Glucosamine it helps joints in general.

i have to say that my tens machine is a miracle worker xx they are well worth the cost, the pains in my neck are gone within minutes of that. i take all kinds of drugs for my arthritis, but sometimes its only the tens that works

Cut out all red meats, try Dr Dongs diet which is mainly fish and rice with some soya. It works amazingly with osteo-arthritis and there is a much lower incidence of arthritis in the japanese community who have used it for years.
