Can I get herpes from a guy that has herpes, but isnt having an outbreak?!

Question: please lemme know...thanks

Answers: please lemme know...thanks

Yes.

But the chances are low. Depending on the person and how many outbreaks they get, if you had unprotected sex with them regularly for an entire year just avoiding contact during and around the time of outbreaks, your risk would be 5-10% per year.

yea u can

yes

yes.....

yes, you can..in fact, you can get it from someone by using their wet shower towl!
the fact is...unless you know you cannot live without this person as your husband...you shouldnt risk getting it...and by the way, say you do have sex, or fondle and get it....you will always have it..and some cases are worse than others...some rashes are bad when the outbreak occurs, some arent as bad....but say you arent with him after you get it...and 5 ,6,7 years down the line you find a guy willing to marry you even though you have it, guess what? you have to worry about your baby getting it if you start a family.....bad news...the ? is, is HE worth it?

Yes you can. The CDC website has great information on genital herpes infections.

Herpes is transmittable even when the infected person is not having an outbreak.

The chances aren't as great but, statistic show it's 93% certain to be infected with a partner that has an active outbreak and it is 70% for a partner who has inactive herpes to infect you. Not very good odds! Stay protected!

Yes you can.
