Stopped breathing?!


Question: i know that cardiac arrest follows respiratory arrest 4 to 5 minutes after the breathing stops.
do you what cardiac rate/changes occur during that time frame?

At first your heart rate will go up, and then it will go down. The heart will go into ventricular fibrillation and then it will go into asystole. Or it can go into ventricular tachycardia and then ventricular fibrillation and then asystole. Either way, with no oxygen, the heart will stop.
