I took the Rehab programme, then the Advanced Fitness Rehab, and finally joined a Health Club. Became not only fit, but superfit.

Then I was firm, and lost 39 lbs by sensible diet. I've kept that way ever since. No junk food or drinks. Tried to live as we did during the War.

Taught myself Cardiovascular Physiology & Cardiovascular Physics to understand what the medical profession were talking about. Discovered most of it was B******it and that they didn't -on balance-, know what they were talking about.

Dropped beta-blockers like a hot brick, and never looked back.

Found out that Age-related Hypertension" is in fact total crap, - a myth propagated by people who should know better. So, stopped taking all the pills and feel great at 80, working-out and swimming several times a week.

All the Answers doctors, nurses, trolley-pushers etc., hate me, and await my demise! It might be tonight.... but I've outlived many of them.
