Stomach flu...?!
Question: has it died down yet? and if not when will it start to lol

Unfortunately, it is confusing - there is talk of there being a Norovirus "season" in the Winter here (UK), but unfortunately, I have also heard that it never really goes away. I guess the nature of it is that it will always spread through poor hygeine, and people travel a lot, so they could be introducing it back into the community from their cruise ships and holiday resorts.
The best thing to do is always wash your hands and be vigilent to local outbreaks. I am obsessive about handwashing and treat anything used in public - money, handrails, buttons, etc as potentially contaminated all year round - especially over winter. I understand that this is OTT, but then again, I havent had Noro since 1996!

There is no stomach flu. Flu is a respiratory viral infection. There is, however, viral gastroenteritis and no, it never dies down. LOL.
the lady tweedy did good.
Since it is cold, the influenza season is still here.
"Stomach viruses" (gastroenteritis, rotavirus{diarrhea bug} and norovirus, as they are more properly called) have the same effect - the cold weakens the immune system-. You are still very supceptible to any of these illnesses no matter where you are and what time of the year it is.
