Virus or Infection?!

Question: Im in Michigan and I have been sick 3 times since October~~!
I cant take it anymore! I do have little ones so I guess they are passing it on to me...Right now I started with a sore throat, to nasal congestion and tightness in my throat which makes me cough almost every time I breathe! Post Nasal Drip too!
It will be seven days this Tuesday...I really feel bad 4 days into it and still get the chills!

A normal cold is the worst on day 3-4, and after day 5-6 starts to get better. If you are feeling worse after 7 days of beeing sick, you might have a sinus infection and perhaps should consider seeing a health care provider.

Having small children definitely puts you at risk for catching their "sniffles". Check out an article on cold treatment at

Is when you cough, are you coughin gup yellow or green mucus? If so, then it is an infection. The nasal drip, is that yeloow or green? If there is any discoloration, it is an infection. If the drip in clear, it might just be a virus.

a virus is an infection. wash your hands better and follow up with your doctor to rule out allergies.

Post nasal drip causes a cough and sore throat. Try a nasal spray and tylenol sore throat really works well on a sore throat. Get some sambucol at GNC or online, it shortens the duration of a cold. http://www.fluwikie.com/index.php?n=Cons...
