How do i become a professional cardiologist?!

Question: Hi I don't know how old you are or in what country you are asking this question, but I'll do my best...

In the USA, you need the following education.

High school (most people graduate by the time they are 17-18 years old)
College (4 years)
Medical school (4 years)
Internal medicine residency (3 years)
Cardiology fellowship (3+ years)

The application process for medical school is very, very competitive, so you need to make sure your grades are as good as possible at all phases of your educational process. That mean making as good grades as possible in high school, so that you can get into the best college possible. Also, you need to study hard in college to get into the best medical school possible. You want to get into a good medical school because the application for cardiology fellowships, is itself, very competitive, and so, you need to try to put yourself in a position to get into the best internal medicine residency as possible.

Now, to the lay person, it looks like one has to undergo a tremendous amount of training to finally become a cardiologist, and in fact there is a lot of training. However, after you graduate medical school, you are, in fact, getting paid. You don't get paid much, but you are definintely not in poverty.

Also, medicine and cardiology is a wonderful, dynamic, challenging, and intellectually stimulating field, and I recommend anyone who is interested in the field to pursue it with all their gusto.

Good luck.

med school, residency, fellowship, internship, job.

I think, if your lucky, your medical license can be found in a Cheerios Box.

Ensure your IQ is low enough before you even think about it.

Once you qualify as a doctor, you have to have higher post graduate education.specialisation and work as assistant to a cardiologist-the longer the better.Usually after about 10 years after youe primary qualification.
