I use Desoximetasone cream on my body and it works really well and is odorless, but they gave me Elidel to use on my face, which frankly doesn't work as well and kind of smells. I definately prefer the Desoximetasone, but I'm thinking it's not supposed to be safe for your face. Just ask the dermatologist I guess.
I have a question on here because my girlfriend has broken out really bad on her face. It's bothering us both because it is bad. I have read until my eyes hurt. What I have found is that using a topical steriod cream without an antibiotic is not good because it can increase the chances of infection in that area. Over time it will thin the layers of your skin and make the symptoms more severe. It looks like the best answer is oatmeal. Do not use soap. Do not scratch it.
