Pleeeease help i'm going CRAZY!?!

Question: okay so, today, my friend and i were at lacrosse practice. I had a propell, and she wanted a sip. Forgetting she had mono in January, I let her take a sip. I took one sip, then didn't drink the rest. She said she is all better know, and clearly, she isn't showing any symptoms. Anyway, I am worrying so much that i will get mono now. Am I at a high risk of getting it now? I'm so confused. She said she isn't contagious anymore.

Hey, I've had mono twice so maybe I can help.. Mono can last 1-2 months but It can go away sooner. When I had mono I wasn't able to even think about going to my bball practice nevermind actually going so that's a good sign. But it doesn't prove that she's all better. Look for symptoms like sore throats, muscle soreness and fatigueness for the next few weeks and if you experience any of these then get some blood work done! Don't be scared of your friend though lol- most people get mono once in their lives.

Good luck!

It is completely normal to worry about something like that. But you could have OCD

you don't have to worry! The course of the infection has long passed and she is not infectious anymore!
