I need some quick answers?!

Question: I have being having a pain on my right arm up to my shoulder for about a week.
Yersterday morning the pain was excrusiating, I was at work.
I thought it was due to the change of weather but all of a sudden I broke out in a cold sweat , I was feeling woozy, and nauseos. I felt better after I vomited.
Last night I felt my heart fluttering.
Did I have a minor heart attack?

People have very different experiences of pain with heart attack. The fact that yours was on the right instead of the left does not mean if could not be cardiac related: it definitely could be. The fact that you experienced a cold sweat, wooziness, and nausea make it definitely sound like a heart attack. Nobody here can say whether or not you had a heart attack. You have to be evaluated by a medical doctor to know for sure. You have missed the window of time to be diagnosed for sure now. When heart muscle infarcts, it emits certain enzymes which are only in the blood stream for approx 24 hours. If did have a heart atttack and it was big enough to have gone through the full thickness of your heart wall, an EKG now will still show up a certain characteristic on your Q wave, but it is possible to have had a heart attack not big enough to kill the tissue of the entire thickness of the heart wall, and in that case, an EKG now will not show up an abnormal Q wave. You needed to go to the emergency room while it was happening. Your life can literally depend on how fast you get there. There is someone who answered that we should not clog up emergencies with such matters as chest pain, but I can tell you that person is not a practicing physician. I tell people to err on the side of caution: it's better to go to ER and sit there and burp, than to sit at home and die because you wonder what's going on. Never let pain that drastic or serious go without immediate medical evaluation. You needed to be seen by a physician yesterday. As it is, call you doctor at the crack of dawn in the morning and say what happend. Now, if you begin to feel that pain again, even slightly between now and then, call 911 and go to ER, despite the disagreement of anyone and everyone. Do you hear......NEVER WAIT. IT CAN MEAN THE END OF YOUR LIFE.

GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

these are signs of a heart attack/and stroke!

you need to see your doctor ,pain in the right arm is not usually associated with a heart attack.left arm, jaw, center of back, what i question is the sudden sweats, and nausea, and light headed.again please see your doctor it is something that you should not be procrastinating about.nip it in the bud.there is no such thing as a minor !! heart attack.

Good Heavens, if everyone galloped off to the Emergency Room with what you describe we'd all be in and out of of hospitals like a dog's dick....

The symptoms described could be caused by scores of diff'rent ailments or conditions, -one of the least likely being heart attack.

If they don't go away, make a leisurely appointment with your doctor. - or even phone him.

Just saw your message.Believe me-it's an emergency.Go to hospital NOW!
