There is a big pink thing in my throat and is past the uvula?!
Question: Okay so in the back of my throat kinda downwards is a pink thing that looks like idk maybe lafft taffy that is hideous. It is past the punching bag thiing or the uvula. None of my friends can see theirs when they open their mouths and put their tongues down bit mine is sooo visible. I just started to be able to see it a few days ago. Does anybody know what this might be called? and is it dangerous to be so large?

I would go see your Doctor right away, strep throat
effects both or one tonsil and it looks as you have described.

Old folks used to say your pallet was down and take a spoon handle with black pepper on it and touch your pallet with it and you would go yahhhh and make a loud half gagging chocking sound and the problem would be gone, at least that's how they handled it back in the day!
