I'm 13 years old and I have just had really really bad pains near my heart, !
Question: its probably not your heart because it would be something serious if it was,
its probably traped wind as that hurts,
ive had pains in my chest before and i curled up on the floor cause it hurt that much..its probably growing pains or something, ask your mom
and if the pain comes back
go to the doctors

It Happens to me. Take my advice, you never know what it is . You should go see a doctor immediately.

better go to your doctor. you never know when you may get heart trouble.
Ask you Mum or Dad to take you to your GP they will be able to check you out and rule anything bad out hopefully :)

Do not delay go the Accident and Emergency right away. I am a first aider and i would tell that to everyone who suffers any pain near the heart area to do the same.
We all suffer these pains, especially as teenagers, as a teens heart is still growing.
Take some deep breaths and stop been paranoid.
And remember those pains were NEAR your heart, not in your heart. It'll be nothing.
hi i had them. i had no idea what they were i just left it and it seemed to go away but i do get it every now and then. but i could be wrong ,go and see your doctor .
have you eaten recently it really could be something as simple (but very painful) as trapped wind. If it doesnt go away or gets worse tell your parents.
It is probably trapped wind. It is is your heart you should be getting pain down one or both arms, jaw pain etc. Call NHS direct if you're very worried.

I had the same thing as you. Well by what you describe. I thought i had a heart problem im 16. Went to the doctor but they didnt really help. So i went to accident and emergency, they found out i had inflamed cartilage between my ribs and them rubbing causing severe pain. I also had a pain down my arm.
