Is it true that people with hepatitis have to be buried in a lead lined coffin.?!

Question: My friend reckons that she will as she had hepatitis and had years of treatment. She is more well than i have ever known her to be now but she is known for being a bit dramatic at times. She also said that aids sufferers have to be buried the same way. Can anyone tell me the facts on this one please.

Viruses still need a place to live. So if im a virus in a dead body, i cant replicate so I die off. Hep. viruses also tend to be fussy ones, that's why they're only transmitted through blood or body secretions. If they could outlast a dead body, then that would mean they could exist on inanimate objects and if that were true that you could actually get Hep from a toilet seat or a car door or from money. (You can't get it from any of those)

With Hep A being the exception (it's also the only fixable one and will go away completely)

not true

I dont think that is accurate

as far as I understand all aids sufferers have to be buried in lead lined coffins. not to sure of your friend. either you have it or you havent. are you sure your friend hasnt had jaundice?

you can always tell when someone has died of full-blown AIDS, because the grass doesn't grow on their grave-site.
Nothin' but dead grass "/

Im not sure about hapatitis tho...

while i do not entirely dismiss this possibility it is not something i have ever heard of being done

She is talking out of her backside, Think about the amount of transmittable infections there are in the world. nearly everyone would have to be buried in a lead lined coffin

I doubt that! and I'd assume they'd be cremated rather than buried.

Absolutely not. That is completely incorrect. Under no circumstances does anyone have to be buried in a lead-lined coffin, regardless of the cause of death. I have been a funeral director for a long time and I have never used a lead lined casket.

No

Nah that's rubbish, we cremate all of them!
