Anyone allergic to pets...What did you experience and do you have asthma?!

Question: i am wondering because i think my daughter is allergic to my sister's dog, he's a pug and he sheds alot. I have been staying at their house for a month and it seemed that my daughters face would turn red and scally, idk if it could be a pet or laundry or something, but now i am at my other sister's house and her rash is disappearing, almost gone and its only been day two... back to the question... those of you that are allergic to pets what is the syptoms and what (if any) does/did the rash look like?

I'm allergic to dogs cats & birds, I get everything from a slight rash to hives, scaling skin, wheezing, eye irritation, and fatigue. Different breeds cause different reactions, but sometimes it's really hard to pin down what is the source.

Since the rash is fading after leaving your sister who owns the dog I'd lean toward it being an allergy to it or some other factor over at her house. For peace of mind you might want to look at allergy testing to be sure of the cause and also to find if there are other latent allergies you should know about.
