Can u ger herpes from oral sex if your partner doesn't have it?!
Question: You can only get genital herpes through oral sex if they have ORAL herpes, i.e. cold sores. It is not possible if they have genital herpes but do not have oral herpes, since they are two separate infections.
It is highly likely that even if someone tells you they have never had a cold sore and do not therefore have genital herpes, that they actually do. 8 out of 10 people have oral herpes, and 80% of them do not have symptoms and have no idea they are infected. Herpes is often a silent infection.
Unless they have a blood test and test negative for hsv-1 and hsv-2, you cannot guarantee they don't have it, nor is herpes part of an std screen.

No you can't.
if your partner does not have cold sores or genital herpes then its kind of impossible. if he is a carrier and has no symptoms then it may be possible. one of u would have it to begin with. herpes doesn't usually come from nothing.
