Why does my skin itch when I get out of the shower?!

Question: My skin always itch when I get out of the shower for example If I shut the water off and I am still in the tub,it starts to get very itchy and yesterday I even started to bleed a little from itching. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and what can I do to prevent it?

I have the same problem and went to the doctors. He said it was caused from the water being to hot and using soap. I found the only soap i can use is anti-bacterial soap. You still it a little bit itchy but not so much that you want to just rip at your skin.

it might be dry....try some moisturizer

if your water is too hot, it could make it itchy.

maybe your skin is sensitive to the soap you're using. try dove. its less harsh on your skin

Have you cahnged washes? if so or if its not that you have changed look to see if you body wash has mineral oil in it. this will cause more irritation in your skin. Also after you get out of the shower you a lotion or body butter the again doesn't have mineral oil in it.
