Do I get tetanus if I...? HELP?!
Question: I wounded my hand and it was bleeding.. i went to the bathroom and put the thing on the sink where it stops the water from draining and i put my hand on the sink.. and then i noticed that the stopper thing that i put on the sink had rust.. will i get tetanus coz my wound was there with the water and the rust was in there?

most likely not. There is a tiny chance, but if you have had your tetanus shot in the last 10 years you should be good anyway. Most common cases of tetanis is when the rust is the substance to cut you
I'm not sure on that.. But how long ago have you had your shot? It usually lasts 10 years.
I'm not too sure.. I would squeeze what blood I can out and then get it wrapped up.. But, I'd still go see a doctor about it.. asap.
If you got a tetanus shot last year you are safe. Some doctors say eight years others 10 years. Check with your doctor to make sure you are up to date with your tetanus shots.
