I sweat an unusual amount?!
Question: Ok I'm 16 and I sweat soooo much. I've had this issue since 6th grade. If I am sitting in class, taking notes or whatever I will sweat like a pig. It's embarrasing cuz I always have to wear sweaters cuz the sweat leaves stains under my arm pits. Durring gym class it really doesnt get much worse though. I drink about 12 glasses of water a day (due to a heart problem) so i know im not dehydrated. And I'm on Adderall for ADD if that could possibly be a cause. I use A LOT of antipersprint deoderant and it doesnt help at all. I've tried aerosol, baby powder, everything. OH YEAH!!! --- My body can hardly retain water. Is that why? And what can I do to stop sweating!!!?? I wanna wear t-shirts again!!! (And if you know tricks without using Rx meds/deoderant, I'd really apriciate it) (AND NO BOTOX!) Thank you!!! =]

There are conditions that I can't remember at this moment. But I had read an article on what your describing. Have you asked your Doc? Also, call a pharmacist and ask if it might be a side effect of any med your taking.

I guess you just have over acting sweat glands.

You can buy CertainDri at any drugstore. It is sold in the deorodant section. It is Rx strength and works amazingly. You just put it on at night and no sweating under your arms the next day! Good luck.
There was a girl I went to college with that seemed to have the same problem. I don't remember her name, but I remember her as "Sweaty Betty". Secret has a new over the counter, prescription strength anti perspirant. I never heard of adderall causing sweating, but I suppose it is possible. Have you seen a doctor about it? I know that you should be certain to drink a lot of fluids. You will excrete fewer body wastes through your sweat, more in your, um, pee.
