If you have problems with your ovaries will steroids make thing worse?!
Question: I have come to realise that a lot of my discomfort. illness, and pain is from ovaries that have been inflamed and scarred from repeated cysts and now it is dicovered, I am having them removed. But for years and years I was led to believe that my bowel disorder was the culprit and I have been on courses of steroids, only to develop worse symptoms at the end of it. I just wonder if the steroids would have made the ovaries worse?

It depends on which steroids you are talking about, but most commonly people are prescribed Corticosteroids - eg. Prednisolone.
This would generally be a medication that REDUCES inflammation and is not likely to have contributed to the troubles with your ovaries.
