It varies from person to person...I don't know why people keep asking this question. I dated an Asian man and he really didn't smell bad but he still had his days, usually after sweating or something.
I'm white and I smell great. I think it's my attitude... my armani attitude.

Body odor varies among individuals. You cannot make broad generalizations about the body odor of entire ethnic groups.
There's more variance within ethnic groups than there is between them.
While it depends on the individual, on average Asian have less body hair and sweat less than whites which results in less odor producing bacteria.
Body oder also comes from what you eat. If a white person is usually consuming red meat and potatoes he will smell different from an Asian person who ate mostly fish and rice (stereotypically speaking.) The person who eats foods more similar to the ones you are used to will seem to smell less. Obvously there are many more aswell factors such as cologne and deoderant choices.
Body odor is as individual as the people asking/answering these questions. Cleanliness does play a part, though. Some people believe you can just swipe deodorant under your arms and be done with it. Ya gotta shower, then use deodorant!!! I believe in being clean and smellin' good!!!
