Dry itchy skin especially at night! Help!!!?!
Question: I have a patch of skin on my ankle that is very itchy especially at night. The only thing that it will let me put on it without severe stinging or burning is Noxema. Anyone here have anything similar to this? I know that I should see a doctor but I hate going to the doctor.

Try an over-the-counter cream containing cortisone, and apply at least twice a day. Especially apply after showering.
Cortisone is an anti-inflammatory medication that I use if I itch at night & it works.
If that does not resolve the itch and heal the patch in a week, then do see a doctor, because it could be something more serious than just an itchy patch.
