Yeah take your meds and dont ever miss a dose.

Also watch for adverse reactions:
- tardive diskenesia (something like that) unreversable
- paramydial reactions
- anticholenergic ractions

Get lots of talk therapy. The biggest issue with schiz. is medication reactions. Other than that medication is the only way to deal with it. If it doesnt work assess the option for a new med. In this case cog therapy is just icing on the cake.

Associate your hallucinations to something positive. I.e. if you see the devil, then he is telling you to get a job and get promoted within a year. Schiophrenia is a great tool for motivation if you can get someone to role play off your hallucinations because of its strong psychological association. Just make sure you can trust them to get you to do something productive like go to college or get a good job and work hard or you will die.

Its controversial but anything helps to get ahead these days.

what are you looking for?

Make sure you stay on your medication, but watch closely to make sure it is working because sometimes you may need medication adjustments or changes.

Find a therapist with whom you feel comfortable and meet with this person on a regular basis.

Research your medication as well as your diagnosis so that you understand what is happening when the doctors or therapists are talking to you.

You need to see a Mental health Doctor ie. Pychatrist.so stay sweet and safe.
