it never fails to amaze me that when someone asks a perfectly decent Q particularly one that is causing them distress there are always idiots who instead of either writing a helpful A to the best of their knowledge they post stupid pathetic A
You seem to have got replies from decent people who give advise but also some morons who are totally unhelpful.
I hope that my A falls into the former--- it is difficult to say what is causing your discomfort it depends on age and other circumstances,I suffer with Lichen sclerosis which is as painful and uncomfortable as you can imagine , developed it after the menopause, therefore seems to be hormonal, I am sure you're too young for it to be this ,you say you had an infection which could be the cause, it could be the meds you were given, the other thing is it could be stress, the point is this is something that is obviously causing you distress and discomfort,my advise is pop back and have a word with the nurse/doctor where you will get the best help, and hopefully treatment to clear it up. I wish you all the very best, don't hesitate to get some help.waiting will only make things get worse and worry you more. best wishes
By the way stop using fragrant soaps and fem sprays they only exacerbate skin problems. Wish you all the best.

It could be the antibiotics that have affected your skin.
They can cause a number of skin problems, including thrush.
Another trip to your GP will solve the problem, try not to worry too much it will be easily sorted.

It could be a late reaction to any lotion u use or the urine infection.
If it continues for the rest of the week then u should get it checkd

I should go to your doctors, it might be something only medication can cure it, Good luck.

It could well be residual from the pessaries that you may have used ..they may have cleared up things and killed of a few layers of epidermis ...and I'm surmising you use a baby moisturiser or similar soo.. dunno change your soap powder in the wash? just guessing, but if you're alarmed, perhaps you should have a quiet word with the nurse at you local GP.

" Down There " are we talking feet here.

I've had more urine infections than I can count, but I've never had really dry skin "down there". I would suggest going to see someone about it if it gets worse or causes any discomfort... I don't think it would be an STD, but it wouldn't hurt to get it checked out, possibly by a dermetologist, because most doctors know little about skin conditions.

If you have had a urine infection you will have been wiping more frequently and that and the burning effect can cause thrush. Try using natural yoghurt on the affected area or any of the over counter preparations. If not see the Doc.
