What is wrong with my daughter? How do I know?!

Question: Hi, I am having a problem I don't know how to solve. I have no health insurance and cannot go from place to place to place. What is the best way to find out what is wrong with my daughter... or me for that matter. She is coming up on 8 years old. She started talking late, like 5 or so, even then it was not a back and forth conversation. She is very smart and is in the second grade, home schooled, she does 3rd grade math, can read second grade level, and is an excellent artist with most all medium. She plays very creatively and can play for hours with her imagination. We do not watch television but do have videos. She loves tap dancing and playing piano and drums. There is so much going for her, but when we have to communicate with her there is this 'gap'. she does not understand simple instruction, sometimes. Other times she can take instruction right down to the dot. I thought it was food allergies, she was allergic to milk when she was an infant and so she was on soy. I put her back

i think it got nothing to do with allergies.. maybe, she suffer from a brain or mental disorder(sorry to say this).. or somekind of dyslexia.. but u know what, theres many children with brain disorder are smarter than normal children.. this may happen to a baby who supposed to get nutrient from breast milk, but because of her allergies, the soy isnt enough for her.. u need to meet doctor immediately whatever it takes..

She may have more allergies than you are aware of. A lot of children are allergic to wheat and gluten. I would elimate certain foods and see how she reacts. I know it is tough without insurance but most cities have help for people that don't have insurance. Call the Courthouse and get some phone numbers to apply for medical assistance.
