Does anyone else fine it difficult to deal with psoriasis?!
Question: Hey everyone,
My name is Mal, and I have had psoriasis since I was in 8or 9. I am now almost 16. My psoriasis has gotten so much better over the past couple of years I went from about having probably 60% of my body covered to about 40%. But my brother who is 8 years old has the same condition but it is far worse. I just have it lightly on my arms and my back, legs, my scalp,and a little on my chest. I first started seeing signs of psoriasis when my parents got divorced and it did not help when my dad when killed 7 months later. I know this is caused by stress by I would like some opinions from others about the type of treatment you use?
I have used Dovenex, Clobex, t-gel and other methods of treatment.
I thought about light therapy, tanning beds, and just lying out in the sun but I am really tired of this is there any way some people have actually gotten rid of psoriasis.
Please let me know!

Sorry to hear about your brother bad condition, hope his psoriasis will decrease as your did.
Any way I'm from Israel and many psoriasis patients come her to do photo-therapy at Dead Sea which helps for about 3 to 6 months. Also we have Psoral gel that manufactured her, you can lookup it on the internet http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=psoral
some says it great I still didn't used it yet.
Ha. you have snow flake syndrome. Tat sucks at least you dont have eczema like me

Fish oil caplets will help. Eating lots of fish and seafood, too. My son had this problem and these remedies seemed to help.
Laying in a tanning bed. helps.
Hey sweetie, I'm sixteen 2 && i have eczema (which is very similar to psoriasis). my doc prescribed me an ointment called Protopic & i have 2 tell you that it works AMAZINGLY!! in about two days, everything is cleared up && i feel great. my little bro who is 4 has eczema 2 & my mom puts it on him 2. i think people with eczema OR psoriasis can use this ointment.
