Whats ringworm?!

Question: A fungal infection on the skin, know as Tiena it is very contagious so if you think you have it go to the docs immediately and wash all your bed sheets, towels etc. it is nothing to be embarrassed about i know "ringworm" sounds horrid but it has nothing to do with worms or not washing as some might think, you can treat it easily with a cream in fact usually you will be given canestan cream for thrush and it will go away in about a week, just be careful not to pass it onto others ,wherever it is on your body try to cover it up, it is caused by many things but as it is very contagious you could pick it up as easily as touching a handle or using public transport

Its a skin condition, its usually found in farm animals,it can be passed on to humans. It's not life threatening, just highly contagious and can be treated with anti biotic.

, also known as "Tinea", is an infection of the skin, characterized by a reddish to brownish raised or bumpy patch of skin that may be lighter in the center, giving the appearance of a 'ring'. Contrary to its name, ringworm is not caused by a worm but by parasitic fungi (Dermatophytosis). It can exist anywhere on the body.

Ringworm is very common, especially among children, and may be spread by skin-to-skin contact, as well as via contact with contaminated items such as hairbrushes or through the use of the same toilet seat as an infected individual. Ringworm spreads readily, as those infected are contagious even before they show symptoms of the disease.
