Could this be mold?!
Question: My husband and I recently bought our first home (brand new). A few months ago I noticed two pink spots on the wall in a room we used as a computer room (which is near a window). Then a few days ago I noticed the same color pink bleeding through the wall in a room we used as a guest bedroom (used maybe 5 x's and I don't think there were any drinks in the room over the past few weeks). Could this be mold?

Lots of molds can either be pink or red. If you had this home built, the by all means get the contractor in ASAP because you have a moisture problem that THEY need to fix. The mold needs moisture to grow, so the first thing is to cut off the moisture. Then you remove the damaged portions, treat the surrounding area with an antimicrobial and then patch. Its not a big deal unless you ignore it and let the problem grow. If you want to be sure it is mold, you can go to the hardware store and get those do it yourself kits for mold or order them on-line. I'll include a link for them
Active, live mold is pinkish in color. You likely have serious moisture problems.
Never in my whole life have I heard of pink mold!!!
Yep sounds like it, moisture could have gotten trapped in the walls when they were building your house or you have a small leak somewhere. I'd get a mold test if I were you. But, if either of you smoke, it could just be tar forming on the plaster, if not, mold check.
sounds like it!
