Fairskin & sunbeds..?!
Question: hi I have blonde hair and quite fair skin and never tan!
I either stay pale or burn & go straight back 2 white again,
just wondering if a sunbed would make me tan or would I
just burn like I do in the sun? Ive had spraytans in the past
but they always look a little fake- even st tropez!

sunbeds are not the cancer machines alot of people say they are, i am a beauty therapist and if used safely and if people who know they don't tan wouldn't use them in the first place, they are great and for alot of people having a tan can really change your self-confidence, it is know to even slightly help with depression, but as you have fair skin and blonde hair i would have to say a sunbed would prob not be wise for you, you sound like you are skin type 1 which should avoid the sunbed, you could give it a go and if you burn then obviously stop, go into your local tan salon and have a chat with the girls they will help you and if it doesn't work out there are lots of great self tans way better that st tropez, lancome is my fave
I would stongly advise against sunbeds. I cant beleive they are still using them in salons. It makes me shudder to even think about it. Please dont use a sunbed. I'm sure youve seen all the bad publicity about them.
well... im sorry to tell you this, but a sunbed is going to give you the same results as the sun would. my sister and i went to the tanning bed and she is the same way. i wouldnt reccomend it if you have fair skin because she was hurting for days.....
be happy with your fair skin. when you get older you will have less wrinkles than those sun goddesses do and then who do you think will look better then.
STAY AWAY FROM THE SUNBED!!!! They are just as dangerous as the sun.
If you have fair skin PLEASE look after it. My husband has very fair skin , never stayed out of the sun and STILL got skin cancer. He now is is disfigured on his face thanks to surgery.
Its just not worth it - stick to the fake stuff and look forward to 'gosh you look young for your age' comments when you are in your 50's.
im same as u..dont do it,it leaves u with brown blotches on your skin..everyone is different but my skin in summer has brown blotches on it..i only used a sunbed for a few wks.and it didnt suit me,i looked weird..lol..just be happy being white,like me..paula x
sun beds do take out ray B which is a burning ray however they do NOT take out ray A which is the aging ray... it is your choice if you want to tan which wil gradually age your skin and make you look older than you really are.... there are some good spray tan booths which is a healthier alternative to ray exposure
