That can be a sign that you could have diabetes espcially since it run in your family. You should get your sugar level tested or go to the doctor. Most doctors do something call a fasting test to see if you have diabetes. Which is when you don't eat that previous night or the day of the appointment and they check your sugar level.

Please see a doctor and find out for sure.

You should really get tested for it. I was borderline diabetic when i was 15. But i changed my eating habits and lost some weight and am no where near as close to being diabetic. Sorry to hear about your father. Good Luck

Diabete's usually skip's a generation. My grandma has it but my dad doesn't so I am liable to get it. I thought I had it but I didn't, there is a chance that i don't get it but my kids might. So that explains your mom. If you really think you have diabetes tell you're parents and you have to get blood work done to check. I think you have to take in-sul-in shots.

,Talk to your parents about your fears. Ask them to make an appointment to get tested as soon as possible. This is the only way to truly find out and if it turns out you do, then treating it early helps avoid the many of the complications that can happen if left untreated. Good luck.

symptoms are: extreme thirst, excessive need for the toilet, losing weight without trying, tiredness and fatigue, blurred vision. my advice would be to see your doctor and they will most likely need a urine sample to test for it. i hope this helps.
