Can some catch HIV from doing oral sex as a gay couple? and or kissing each othe!

Question: I was involved with someone we did not have sex. But yess we did do oral sex on each other though and we kissed. I did not ever let someone ejaculate in my mouth so that did not happen either. But i found out that this person was HIV positive. Do you think i was also infected too?

No! It is very rare that someone become infected by oral when there is no ejaculation ( even if he did there is a low risk) and for kissing- not a problem.

I an 1/2 of a gay couple, my partner is HIV+ and we have been together for 11 years. We kiss, we perform oral and I do not receive fluid. After 11 years I am still negative.

I am also a HIV specialist so I have a greater understanding about what is high risk. I will not allow myself to be at risk, and we all chose what level of risk we are willing to take.

chances are that your arn't, but there is a thing called pre-ejaculation (not premature ejaculation) that could of happened.....

You should get tested anyway for treatment.

It is possible to get HIV through oral contact even if your partner didn't ejaculate in your mouth. Men tend to leak fluids before they come and this fluid can contain the HIV virus.

It is incredibly hard to catch HIV in this manner, but it is possible. You should refrain from sexual encounters until you are tested an know for sure if you have contracted the virus. You can get tested right away, and then you will need to get tested again in 6 months. If both tests come back negative, you are considered to be HIV negative.

Below, I have included a website which will give you more information, and the second website allows you to enter your zip code and find an HIV testing center. Many of these places will let you test anonymously and/or give you the test for free.

Yes.

Yes... because pre ejaculation comes out very thin, so u may not have noticed it... just because he didnt *** in ya mouth doesnt mean u cant get it. if this person had an open cut or sore in his mouth or something like that.. or even bleeding gums, u could have been infected. good luck to ya.

Absolutely! Why in the hell do you people insist on tempting fate in the face of so much medical evidence? There can be such a small amount of blood or semen that you can't feel or see it, and if you can't, you assume it isn't there. I would say you are probably infected. I am not a medical student but I am literate and am able to use common sense.
