Type up anxiety in your word processor and use the dictionary. It will give you a clear and correct interpretation.
The Microsoft dictionary actually outlines all the symptoms.
This will help you clarify your own anxiety experiences.

If you don't have Microsoft Works Word, then use any dictionary.

Hope I helped.
Answering to your added details;
I had a read about OCD's and I believe you would know if you had these symptoms. Don't label yourself with disorders, just wait for the professionals to do the analysing, or you will bring on an "anxiety attack", just humour!
I don't think it is an attack as such, from what I read it is more of a panic. Did you read up on Anxiety disorders and Anxiety Neuroses, also Neuroses on its own. (Microsoft Dictionary), I found it to be very helpful in relation to your details.

Good Luck at your appointment!

Okay an anxiety attack is one of the scariest things I have had happen to me, I ended up in emerg for it actually. Your heart races, you feel like you can't breath, your chest is tight and most likely hurts, you are sweating buckets, in some cases your legs and arms go numb. Your mind is racing trying to make sense of what is happening to you. The doc says all things are normal, its JUST a panic attack. LOL its the just part that kills me, I mean this is scary stuff you feel like you might be cashing in your last chip! Any way most panic attacks are triggered by stressful situations or traumatic situations I have had to learn some relaxation techniques to practise when I feel an attack coming on, in my case when my husband passed away I had the first one and have been dealing with them ever since, not so frequent now but it has taken 7 years some counselling and a good family to help me with this. If you are suffering panic attacks do lots of reading on things you can do to help yourself and remember as the doctor said panic attacks never killed any one just scared the heck out of them. Good Luck!!!

it's where you get so overwhelmed by everything that is going on around you and in your life that you can't breath and freak out.

it's crazy not fun :/
