Does anyone else get Hives everyday?...Do you know what could be the cause?!

Question: I get hives all over my body pretty much every night. It looks like I have been attacked by cats. They look like raised, white scratch marks all over me. The last time I had a physical all my bloodwork was perfectly normal. And I can't imagine what I am having an allergic reaction too on a daily basis. I am a very routine person so I don't change soaps and things. This has been going on over a year and I am really tired of it, any advice?

I will tell you what worked for me that covers maybe 10 percent of hive cases. I had hives for along time and they went away when I went on a gluten free diet following a diagnosis of celiac disease. Celiac disease is an intolerance to the gluten found in wheat, rye and barley and things made from them. It causes malabsorption of different nutrients. So get your doctor to test you for celiac disease and gluten intolerance which is a blood test and possibly an endoscopy. If they are negative tests, it is still possible to try a gluten free diet and see if the hives stop.
Good luck, hives are a real pain. Hope this helps.

Change your laundry detergent and fabric softener - you can become allergic to products that you have used for years for no reason.

If that doensn't help, I'd change your bath soap/shower gel.

If that doesn't help I'd go to a Dr. and have them work up an allergy panel.

In the meantime, take some benadryl - it should help with itching.

Change your:

Laundry soap
Bath Soap
Perfume
Cleaning agents
Try a different diet, or keep track of the items you use to fix meals with, and match them against the days that are worse

Research on webmd or other medical site...

It's probably a food allergy or a contact allergies. Sometimes allergies develop fairly late in life, so the fact that you haven't had allergies before is irrelevant. Hives can also be caused by stress. You'll need a complete physical to get to the bottom of this.

It is probably from something you are eating.

try different products and cleaner sheets
